Our story began in 1994 when Paul Stinckens founded Unicorn. As an Olympic kayaker, Paul brought the focus, dedication, and resilience of elite sport directly into our DNA. From day one, we were less interested in theories than in discovering what actually works in practice

In the early years, we worked primarily with executive teams. In a world full of management models and classroom learning, we chose a different path. We stepped outside, into nature, and held up mirrors that enabled the courageous conversations that matter. It was about challenging and supporting leaders to live up to a higher ambition, for themselves, their teams, and their organizations.
As our clients faced new challenges, we grew alongside them. We evolved from executive team coaching into leadership development, driven by a simple belief: leaders who want to create sustainable transformation must be willing to transform themselves first. Over time, our work expanded to helping entire organizations shape cultures that enable strategic success.
